Football in road

Dear All

Children and footballs.

Where I live kids play football in the road and kick it against a metal substation. The thumping/banging of the ball is really bad.
I can't sit in my garden and I have to shut the windows to try and drown the noise out.

This is not kids playing nicely like kicking it to each other. This is them lobbing the ball in the air not caring where it lands, kicking it at cars and kicking at residents houses.

Does anyone know who I need to speak to about this. I understand that it's only football and their not doing anything more serious (thank goodness).

_ _ _.a trick I learned from an older friend, now sadly passed away. He used to make a point of chatting to the local kids, he made friends with them and took an interest, come trick or treat he had loads of goodies for them. If they behaved badly he had a very friendly chat with them, lots of pleases and thank yous and it worked.

_ _ __ _ __ _ _mind you these days the above tactic could backfire. Not sure who you could ring but the citizens advice could tell you.
