welcome to bexhill_ _ _its very quiet compared to hastings, in fact the old town in hastins is the place for live bands esp sundays_ _ _however bexhill is quieter but i love the life style as less riff-raff and lot less idiots in the town centre_ _ _
best pubs are_ _ _as follows..
the harp is nice for the quiter drink_ _ _.nice pub and nice people
the town crier looks abit local, but is a small and lovely pub and my local_ _ _.the staff are friendly and although it looks like a converted shop_ _ _its a really friendly and top drink
the devonshire is a bit more noiser but is good for a late drink
bar one is a younger place and they do a good happy hour GBP1.80 for lager or wine at 6pm
the york hotel is nice, and opens till 3am at weekends for you younger people and opposite a top curry house as well
if you want a lovely lunchtime drink, the terrace at the waterside club is ace, you need to join as a member, but great on the sunny day over looking the sea for lunch
the royal soverign near the station is more a regulars pub, i love it when the landlord is there as he is ace _ _ _often puts out cheese and snacks on the bar, and is a lovely geezer_ _ _..however , on a friday night if he is not there an attract the odd wierdo_ _ _be carefull
the mermaid hotel is ace for food , and lovely for a lunchtime sunny drink
there are lovely and nice places in bexhill_ _ _.dont be put off by the quiet look_ _ _..if you want bands and more atmosphere, maybe hastings is better_ _ _jump on the train or use taxi's ( you can get good deals_ _ _i get taxi's for GBP8 one way)_ _ _the old town hastings is great esp the 'london trader' for bands
what ever you want, you have it all local_ _ __ _ __ _ _
have fun _ _ _.and if you se me in the pub_ _ _mines a stella _ _ _
