The Blue Dolphin used to be the best but in my opinion, the best fish and chips can be bought from The Lifeboat, a small shop next to The Cutter Pub. We don't use any other shop now.

Having just returned from our ""Annuall Hastings Holiday " ( and lovely it was too !!) i must agree about "Maggie's " the best fish n chips in Hastings,with The Lifeboat as a second choice ! The Blue Dolphin ??? CLOSED for the 2 weeks we were there !! anyone know why ? and last year was the same maybe they take their holls in June ??

Any new on The dolphin ? is it still shut ? 2 years running now ,whilst we were on holidays in Hastings ,i really missed it this year as Maggies doesn't do ' take-away '

We bought some recently in a corner chip shop along the front just before the Old Town. Don't know the name of it but it was gorgeous.
