Hello,

we started a small business in St Leonards a year ago, and two months ago completed the transistion by moving into Warrior Square, which I understand has a bad reputation. We find it quiet, safe, friendly and an absolute joy to live here- apart from the seagulls pouncing on and ripping apart the rubbish bags that a few anti social residents insist on putting out on the wrong days! This is one of the best places I have ever lived, and I've lived in lots!

Hi Helen, I have been living near Warrior Square for over four years now and haven't really had a problem with it. Nice to hear some other positive reports. If only we could get seagull proof bin bags. St Leonards is a great place to live, especially in the summer.

Am thinking of moving to Battle, what is it like there?
I will be doing a mutual exchange with the Housing Association .
Thank you.

I have lived in Church road for over 20 years and in the last 6 or 7 years it has definitely gone downhill..dog muck,rubbish,druggies,vandalism,theft..it is a waste of time contacting the police or community wardens or the local Councillors..And in my opinion anyone who states different must be on the happy weed..

Hi Jackie, Battle seems like a nice place to me, the shops there aren't the sort you'll find down a city/big town high street, they're quite different. The shops aren't really of interest to me though, after years of having to go to Battle with the family and slog it around the shops

Thanks Plonker,
Not worried about shops, just love countryside, greenery , and some peace.
