"Oratava" in Ore Village

Can anyone help with any details of the above House that was built in the grounds of "Oratava", this would have been about 500yards from the top of Clifton Road leading along the Ridge, this is where we used to have the Cycle Speedway.
I was born in Hastings, in Victoria Avenue and after seeing an old book on Ore Village prompted the question.

There was an 'Oratava House' at 485 Old London Road.

We remeber it as oratarvy, where the cyclespeedway was and this joined Kemps Field,which linked into Rocks Lane.
I and my brother used to ride for the Ridge Eagles .

Also My husband bert also used to ride for the Ridge Eagles,

You are dead right ,and would it be Bert Gur or Bert Utting who also rode for the Ridge Eagles?
If so, I have a photo of the Ridge Eagles with: Bert Utting, Charlie Pepper,Dereck Barton,Cecil Glazier,George Potter, Frank Saunders,Ginger Hope,Brian Phillps and Bert Gurr taken in the 1950,s.
