Maria Ball - Convent of our Lady school

I am trying to find out what happen to a friend called Maria Ball who would now be in her mid fifties.
She lived in St Leonards with a member of her family an Aunt or Nan she attended The Convent of our Lady school .
Maria also had an Aunt who lived in London.
I knew her in 1972/73 so I know its along time ago but if it jogs a memory please let me know.
