Gospel choir

Anyone know of a gospel choir in the area please???

Silvana, it seems likely that Evangelical Churches, who believe in the Gospel (Good News of the written word of God) should have some idea of any choral groups, so you could try asking at an Evangelical (Pentecopstal/Baptist) Church in Hastings, of which there are several:

1) Emmanuel Church, West Hill, 01424 445 184
2) St. Leonards Pentecostal
3) The Tabernacle, Cambridge Road

Occaisionally the London Gospel Choir visit St Mary In The Castle (Pelham Crescent). as well as Rye.

SHADES is an independent amateur Christian Theatre Company that draws together performers from a large number of churches in the Hastings area in order to spread the Christian Gospel through drama.

Many thanks Richard_ _ _.you've supplied a great deal of information! I'm Roman Catholic so I'm not so sure about actually joining a pentecostal church. An independent group of gospel singers is what I had in mind to join, so perhaps SHADES might be the answer. Again, many thanks.
