I was on the train out of Hastings and more friendly people covered in twigs and leaves got on at Warrior Sq.and next Battle
It was a misty day and champagne was poured (before a quarter to 10) and some of these country folk drank 'coke and rum' and talked of strange things and took great care of feathers wrapped around their head gear
There were long staffs clothed with horns and ladies girt with honeysuckle and ivy
