I have just discovered that my Great Grandfather Antonio Body was a visitor in Hastings in early 1871 staying at 51 Havelock Road. He was aged 9, from London and was staying with a Mrs Elizabeth Green, Land and House Owner, who was born in Liverpool. As far as I know they were not related. Can anybody make any suggestions as to why a boy of 9 from London should be visiting Hastings on his own?
