Half the gang members down here are just wannabe 'gansters', but still fall into the category of being chavs!

I'd never move back to London having been born there and lived there for 25 years. Hastings is a fantastic place to live and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Strange thing to say Hazel. I don't know anyone who has moved back to London after living here. Obviously we are all entitled to our own opinions but i'd like to hear more about your situation. What makes you say "Move back to London mate!". I don't see any advantage of being in London to be honest.

London beats Hastings any day of the week. I am sorry but you must be mad to think Hastings is better than London. Hastings is a horrible depressed sea side town.

Do you come from london? If so what part? obviously not the same bit of it that i live in . If you think hastings is horrible and depressed then stay in london , which incidentally is a far more horribly depressed ,drugged up dumping ground than hastings will ever be!

London is one of the worlds great cultural cities. Yes it does have some faults but the pros far out weigh the cons. While Hastings has nothing of cultural significance or any other significance in fact. However there are some nice areas around it. If they could get a good commuter line to London to reduce the travelling time to one hour then I reckon Hastings would go up in the world as it would pull some money into the town. But then would anybody really want to move to such a dump!!! By the way Eastbourne is pretty good and not just filled with old ladies. My advice - Live outside Hastings and if you need to work in Hastings then comute.
