Any clubs?

Postby Diddy » Mon Feb 26, 2007 3:52 pm

Nighclubs all seem a bit pointless now that the pubs stay open so late but whats going no with Saturdays/Waves or what ever its called?
Is it still open or up for sale?

didn't know Waves was up for sale. However, had heard there were plans to change the arcade below Waves into a Wetherspoons. Not a great fan of these chain pubs but they are cheap and cheerful, and it can't be any worse than whats already there.

I wasn't aware that Waves was up for sale either, was under the impression it was business as usual. Always a popular spot for the only just 18's.

As for Wetherspoons, this is a suprise too as they already have a prime spot in the town centre. Presumably this will close and make way for something new_ _ _ an amusement arcade maybe ;)

I do hope not, there are plenty of those already! Thats a lot of space sitting there so it'll be difficult to find something to do with it. How about another 24 hour Tesco metro expresso, every seems to love those. Oh, they don't play music so it's bound to get thropugh planning!
