Hi Bernie

I am the administrator of the forum and have lived in the area for 30 years.

If you read the posts it's split into about a third each way. 1/3 = residents, 1/3 = ex-residents/visitors, 1/3 = perospecive visitors/residents.

Hope this helps.

Geoff

Hi Bernie

I do know the road and once looked at moving there. House prices are at the bottom end of the market which usually means not the best area.

To be honest i'm not the best person to comment on this one, hopefully you'll get more replies as time passes.

the reason why the houses ther are at the bottom end of the market is because many of the houses in the area are run down and there are quite alot of loitering teens til quite late. i have a friend who lived there we just stumbled across this site. hope this helps

cheers for that, yes the houses are run down on that road which is a shame as they are lovely and views on one side are fantastic. I suppose young people like to hang out near parks and the one at the end of that road with the sea view is very attractive.

is your friend happy on that street?

Hi can someone help me? I am trying to contact a very close friend of mine (well actually we are ex sister in laws) I live in Surrey and moved to a new address 2 years ago, I have since lost her address and it would appear she has changed her phone number so I have no way of contacting her and am desperate to speak to her again can anyone help. Without giving out her name all I can tell you is that she lives above a hairdressers in Sedlescombe Road North and has a 12 or 13 year old son. If anyone can help please please e mail me. Thanks. :)

Old Roar Road is quiet and quite upmarket, it used to be unadopted not sure if it still is.
