Depends what end of Battle Road your thinking of. From Silverhill all the way up to the High Beech it's dire. Theres a nice little bit of underveloped land right at the top thats ok, purely for the reason that its yet to be eaten by a forklift and fisher price mansions built in its place.
Not sure about Bristol road. Got any other areas lined up?

I have to agree with Fliss, forget Battle Road unless you're thinking of the top end past the Observer building, but then you're miles from anywhere. As for Bristol Road, some nice properties but I would definately favour Silverhill or Central St Leonards for amenities.

Battle Road has a good choice of properties to choose from,if sue.s wants to buy a property in Battle Road she will it's her choice. Can we please end this attitude of dragging our town down, we should be doing all we can to promote the positives, and believe me there are more positives then negatives in this town.So come on one and all and lets start telling people the good things about St Leonards. By the way my mother in law has just bought a property in Battle Road and she can't wait to move in.

Mr Lawson, i'm not trying to drag the town down any further then it already is, i'm simply stating the truth. Battle road is not a good place to invest in property at the moment. There are far superior areas to the town, if you're going to buy.
Walmarts plans to build a SUPER supermarket on it's very doorstep must surely be a warning to the curious that Battle road and it's immediate neighbourhood aren't exactly the surburban nirvanna you make them sound.
I champion this town to anyone and everyone. Im prepared to my money where my mouth is on that, and that ceratinly isn't Battle road.

An article appeared in last weeks local paper suggesting the site chosen is where Marshall Tuflex currently stands.

According to the Council they no nothing about this and no planning permission has been applied for,who do we believe the local paper or our esteemed council

Glad you can spot humour,now the leader of the council knows nothing,Asda have announced new stores to be built this year and St Leonards isn't one of them and you want me to believe the local paper!!!!!!!!!!!!
