Personally I wouldn't want to live on this road. It is a very busy road and also in a run down area. We drove up there just tonight and I was thinking as we were travelling_ _ _what a dump!! Loads of shops shut down and boarded up, loads of properties for sale. I don't like it myself, therre are better places to live in Hastings/St Leonards. This is just my personal opinion though.

I agree, it's not the best area to live - I lived there about 15 yrs ago, and it was a bit of a dump even then. Seems to have got worse since.
Why don't you look a bit further towards the sea - Roads like The Green, Brittany Rd, Charles Rd West etc are all pretty nice, a lot better than Bohemia area I think.

Bohemia Road itself is quite run down but the roads directly to the east or west of it are better but still within walking distance of buses. The side roads appear to be quieter when I have visited. It may be a good idea to book into a B and B and then spend some time walking around at various streets at different times of the day and evening
